Comfortable, light, wears well.
These approach shoes are superb, the main reason I use this type of footwear Is I’m a left leg amputee and I’m always out doors I teach flyfishing for my livinging I need great traction when I’m walk along side my local rivers on Dartmoor they are very boulder ridden , I find these grip very well even when wet , I’m off to Israel on the 13th march so they will be put through some very hard terrain over all 10/10 .
These are just what I have been looking for. A shoe as snug, minimal and precise as the Evolv Cruzers, with a similar sticky grip on rocky surfaces and bike pedals, similarly casual, understated & classy in style, but with a little more ruggedness for autumn/winter/harsher terrain. They are deliciously comfy, come out a tad longer than the Cruzers, have a wider toe box (perfect for my toe splay), are beautifully made and a delight to wear straight out of the box. I also love the neutral olive colour. They remind me of what I was hoping Five Ten Guide Tennies might be, but by comparison the 5:10 GT’s are clumpy, imprecise, over-designed and shaped for narrow, pointy feet. (I hated them). But I love these Zenders. Go try on a pair, your feet will adore you, and you will develop a new found admiration for the marvels and capabilities of your feet.
