Black Diamond Technician Recco

The Black Diamond Technician Recco takes an already popular all-year round multi-activity harness and adds Recco Technology to make you more searchable in the case of an accident.

Recco Technology consists of a Recco Reflector, which is a passive transponder consisting of a diode and an antenna that’s lightweight and requires no power or activation to function. In the case of an accident, the Recco Reflector will make you searchable to rescuers.

The harness itself is a go to harness for all aspects of climbing from sport to winter. For winter it has adjustable leg loops to cope with extra layers and crampons and features for Ice Clipper slots for extra gear such as your ice screws.

For trad and long rock routes there are four molded gear loops and and extra fifth loop at the back providing you with plenty of racking space and options.

The harness construction uses Fusion Comfort Technology which is supportive for its lightweight construction and is overall quick drying and stands up well to abrasion.

For the multi-season climber who wants an all-round harness, this is a great choice already. The addition of being more searchable to rescuers is icing on the cake.
