Black Diamond Momentum Womens Harness Package - 2019

The Black Diamond Women's Momentum Package is a starter set which includes all the essentials you need to get going in climbing. The kit includes a Momentum harness, ATC XP belay device, a Rocklock screwgate carabiner, a Mojo chalk bag and a White Gold chalk ball.

Balancing the often conflicting requirements of comfort, low weight, usability, and durability, the Black Diamond Momentum Harness provides a body hugging fit whilst managing to not restrict movement. The pre-threaded speed adjust waist-belt buckle reduces fiddling and saves time whilst the trakFIT leg loop adjustment system allows for quick and easy adjustment of the leg loops, but without the weight and bulk of a conventional buckle.

The harness is finished off with 4 generously sized gear loops and a load bearing rear haul loop (doubling as somewhere to clip your trainers for non big wall climbers). We think this is a mega versatile all-rounder harness. Ideal if you're looking for a first harness, or if you are planning on ticking some big numbers in the mountains but don't want an alpine specific harness. The only downside is that the leg loops can’t be completely undone, so if you are winter climbing you’ll have to remember to put on your harness before your crampons. The trakFIT system will give enough adjustment for insulated winter trousers however.
