Outdoor Research Centurion Glove GTX (Black)

3 reviews   |

The Centurion Gloves by OUTDOOR RESEARCH provide waterproof insulation without the use of down through EnduraLoft®.

A dynamic mix of materials give the high-style, super-functional GORE-TEX® Centurion Gloves clout when youre getting down to business. Waterproof and breathable, these gloves are built with resilient, lightweight EnduraLoft insulation in the back of the hands for warmth in frosty conditions, and warm, soft fleece liners keep you comfortable when you're charging the steep and deep. Fashioned with an undercuff design and hits of bright pop colors, the gloves AlpenGrip LT palms add plenty of durability for building backcountry kickers.

Great pair of comfortable, light and warm gloves. Plenty of room for my XL sausage fingers. Haven't tested them in driving rain yet. I was hoping they might cope with climbing /belaying, but the rubberised palm grip is quite thin and would probably soon wear through. They're designed as ski gloves after all! One of these fine days they may even get to go skiing. Longevitywise, I expect to be patching them up at some stage. It's hard to find a non leather material that will stand up to wear and tear and I think these were constructed for lightness and comfort over durability.

Waterproof, warm and easy to get on and off - ideal winter gloves. Minor detail, I like the “pull on” loops that can be clipped to a karabiner on my rucksack when not worn. Yes - I’ve lost a few gloves in the past!
