Exped SynMat HL M

The Exped SynMat HL M is an air sleeping mat filled with synthetic fibre insulation to make it more comfortable, warmer and lighter than regular sleeping mats.

This superb mat still packs down small, thanks to super compressible microfibre filling and quick inflation with the ingenious ‘Schnozzel Pumpbag’ allows you to inflate the Exped SynMat HL M rapidly while preventing humidity from your breath affecting the insulation. It also doubles as an ultra lightweight waterproof compression stuff sack that you could use for storing your sleeping bag. The SynMats do not reach the insulating properties of the DownMats but offer the same comfort, low weight and compact packed size. They come at a lower price point as synthetic fibre is cheaper in cost than the goose down found in the DownMats. The weight to warmth ratio is far superior to standard foam filled camping mats.

This mat offers Next-to-skin comfort and anti-slip GripSkin honeycomb-pattern coating. Laminate is air tight and impervious to hydrolysis. Another great option for 3 season use.

Features

• The dual purpose durable flat valve with one-way flap ensures swift inflation with the Schnozzel Pumpsack. Quick pin insertion for deflation.
• The synthetic microfibre filling is laminated to both upper and lower sides of the mat which eliminates the loss of loft common to synthetic filled sleeping bags. Baffles welded between the microfibrefilled air chambers eliminate cold spots and create a thick, comfortable, and stable air cushion.
• Laminated polyester fabric is both durable, airtight and humidity resistant. The shell‘s top surface is of brushed polyester fabric that provides excellent slip resistance and comfort next to the skin. 
• Air cells on the sides are thicker and give the mat a cradle shape that prevents you from rolling off the mat.
• Ingenious taperd shape allows 2 mats to be placed next to each other in the smallest of tents, here placed head to foot.
