The Scarpa Arpia Womens is an all-round, female specific climbing shoe that combines performance with a high level of comfort.

Designed especially for female climbers who want to step up to their first high performance shoe, the Scarpa Arpia Womens is able to perform in any situation, from indoor walls to multi-pitch climbs. A new, medium fit FK last and the slightly down turned and moderately asymmetric shape on a full length Dynamic 1.4mm Flexan insole, provides great instant comfort, whilst the Wave-Closure-System enables great adjustability and easy access.

Features

  • Hand Constructed Heel - The heel construction adapts well to different foot shapes and is wrapped with Vibram® Grip2 rubber for maximum friction and sensitivity.
  • High Comfort Levels - The upper construction combines 3 panels in Microfibre and a bottom panel in suede. Integral lining for special comfort and durability.
  • Edging Advantage - V-Tension active randing system keeps the shape of the shoe over its life. It holds the forefoot in perfect position and supports the toe area while it allows enough flex for smearing.
  • Support For Continuous, Demanding Footwork via Full length Dynamic Flexan 1.4mm, with extension for heel reinforcement.
  • The Perfect Balance - Slightly downturned and moderately asymmetric last for a surprisingly relaxed fit. Redefined low volume heel shape. The toe section is designed for a moderate toe curvature

    Return

Brought climbing shoes in the sale, arrived quickly and in perfect condition, but the size didn’t feet my wife (my mistake!). Rock and Runs really easy returns policy, and I received a full refund quickly. I definitely will be buying from from them again.

I ordered different size to see which one would fit better however I ended up returning all of them as they didn't fit. I would recommend trying them in store first and opting for 2 size (or even more) bigger than your street shoes with this model.

    Pretty good shoes

Reviews said they were small so I didn’t size down, however I found this was not the case and they were too big. My bf took my pair which was two sizes down from his street size. He later said this was slightly too small. He said they were worth £60 but wouldn’t pay full price as he says the scarpa instincts are better. I didn’t try any smaller in the end as I felt they were quite wide for me over the arches as well and I have narrow flat arches. Bf says this shoe is very comfortable inside.

    Lovely shoes

I have bought these shoes as there are good reviews online about them, and because of the good price. I normally wear size 8 normal shoes and I have gone for a 8.5, being a w model. They fit me pretty well; they are very sticky and comfy, and ideal for a long climbing day.
