    An amazing little flask, but...

I bought this to do a specific job: keep hot water warm enough overnight to allow me to make a hot drink with it the next morning without brewing up. I'm sorry to say that it didn't quite make it.

The specifics: I was wild camping in Scotland in February, but not up high and it wasn't particularly cold out. Water was heated on a stove, but perhaps not quite boiling when put in the flask. That was about 7pm. Flask was wrapped in makeshift bubble wrap cosy overnight, and left on a pile of dry bags containing clothing - not in direct contact with the ground. Water was poured out again at around 6:30am next morning. Wanted to use it to make powdered hot chocolate drink. It dissolved the drink, and it was discernibly warm, but nowhere hear hot.

The time-saving benefits of not having to brew up in the morning are considerable, so I shall probably persist with this technique. Next step will be to add more external insulation - a down flask cosy perhaps. But the spec of the flask led me to think that these extra measures shouldn't really have been necessary.

Amazing light and keeps liquid hot

Really lightweight which was what I was after. Keeps liquid hot all day outside. Large enough to do as a day bottle when hiking. Feels quality. Would highly recommend
