Womens Synthetic Jackets

Womens synthetic jackets are possibly one of the most versatile pieces in an insulating layering system. They can be worn over a base layer when the weather is fair, or under a hardshell when the rain comes in, providing essential warmth. Down jackets have a higher warmth to weight ratio and fold down smaller, but are highly inefficient when wet. Synthetic jackets on the other hand are made from polyester fibres and might not fold down as small, but provide the same warmth when saturated making them a more all-round product suitable for the majority of outdoor pursuits.
