Bouldering in the Alps. Alpen en Bloc 1 is a bouldering guide to the southern Alpine regions, which have gained ever-increasing popularity in recent years. Unlike the other recent offering, Swiss Bloc v1, this guide is produced in predominantly German text, although it does have English introductions to each area.

In terms of selling points over the aforementioned rival guide, this book does offer a slightly slicker look and finish, with LOTS of great action shots. The guide also covers a number of Italian, Austrian and German areas, not (obviously) included in ‘Swiss Bloc’.
