The versatile 750+ Loft ULTRA-DRY Down™ Sea To Summit Cinder CD II is designed as a lightweight and packable summer quilt, but it also integrates with all Sea to Summit sleeping bags (from 2021) to increase the warmth of your entire sleep system. Featuring a temperature range of 2°C to -4°C, perfect for boosting the warmth of your 3-season bags for winter use. Another useful feature is the ability to connect two quilts together to create a double quilt for couples camping.
When the temperature rises, treat your Cinder like a traditional quilt and let your feet and arms breathe. When the temperature drops, cinch the draw cords to create a foot pocket and snuggly wrap around your shoulders while securing the quilt to your mat with the simple strap and press-stud system to reduce heat loss. Sea To Summit's QuiltLock™ system secures your Cinder quilt to any Sea To Summit sleeping bag for another boosted layer of insulation which won't slide off at night.
750+ Loft
750+ Fill Power indicates that 1 oz of down will re-expand to over 750 cubic inches after compression. Higher loft means that less down can be used to achieve the same temperature rating – important for performance sleeping bags. The loft and down quality/composition are independently tested by the International Down and Feather Laboratory (IDFL) – a copy of the certification is supplied with every Sea to Summit sleeping bag.
ULTRA-DRY Down™
ULTRA-DRY Down™ is a permanent nano-level water repellent polymer treatment applied to our down which protects it from external moisture and condensation from inside the bag virtually eliminating the negative effects moisture has on down. Retaining over 60% more loft and absorbs 30% less moisture than untreated down and it dries 60% faster.
