The ArcTeryx FL-355 Womens Harness is a lightweight, Fixed Leg womens climbing harness that combines versatility with comfort and performance.

For those pushing boundaries- whether that be their own or at the cutting edge of the sport, the Arc'Teryx FL-355 Womens Harness is designed for everything from sport and trad to alpine and mixed/ice climbing. Exceptionally comfortable, the harness is made to specifically fit women who climb rock, ice and alpine routes. The Sure Fit elasticised leg loops automatically adjust allowing for a precision fit that tailors the harness to your size and accommodates variable layers needed when using one harness for all disciplines of climbing.

The longer belay loop accommodates a women’s differential between waist and leg loops. Arc’teryx Warp Strength Technology™ equally distributes weight across the swami for enduring comfort. Burly™ Double Weave material is strong and flexible, laminated elastic webbing in the adjustable leg loops extends rebound life and the easy access drop legs allow for bathroom breaks without taking the harness off. The waistband is constructed with a softer edge to eliminate cutting and binding. The FL-355 elevates performance, comfort and versatility.

Warp Strength Technology

WST™ differs from traditional harness construction in that the load is evenly distributed across the entire width of the harness structure rather than loading a single, narrow strip of webbing in the centre or running edge binding, both of which tend to concentrate the pressure of the harness making them less comfortable. Warp Strength Technology™ cradles the body and the load is universally dispersed from edge to edge. This construction method provides a high degree of support and this new generation of harnesses are more comfortable over time and usage than ever before. The waistbelt and leg loops now include thin reinforcements that help keep the load distributed more evenly across their width and the edges have been softened for a smoother transition. All resulting in a WST™ harnesses that are durable, ultra compact, comfortably supple and light weight.

Arcteryx isn't cheap, but, Arcteryx isn't cheap!

Easily the most comfortable harness I've worn while dangling on multiple hanging belays on a 400m+ route. Arcteryx harnesses aren't cheap, but, Arcteryx harnesses aren't cheap! This is well made and will last me many more years than the ****** Wild Country Mission harnesses I've been using - I've had two and both of them have been binned due to the same issue (leg strap webbing is very easily abraded and won't last more than a year of regular trad climbing - total design flaw there). The FL-355 packs down small and is very light. I like that the gear loops sit far back so you don't have to sweep your gear away from your legs when stepping up. The only niggles I have are: (1) the gear loops are on the small side for the type of rack you need for big, multipitch trad routes; and (2) the rear gear loops isn't particularly big and I would have prefer a slightly looser loop as well to make it easier to attach and remove gear on the go.
