The Black Diamond Trail Pro Shock Women's is a female specific 4 season trekking pole designed with shock absorbing features for on-trail versatility.
Featuring Control Shock Technology, the Black Diamond Trail Pro Shock Women's poles offer terrain-absorbing benefits, whilst the SmashLock quick-release technology allows for quick deployment and collapsing. Once the pole is opened, you can lock it into place with an easy-to-hear click (keep the FlickLock Pro closed during deployment), and with the FlickLock Pro open, simply press the tip of the pole into the trail to release the SmashLock for a quick collapse.
The pole’s Control Shock is located within the grip and provides progressive four-stage shock absorption with smooth rebound control on even the most rugged trails. The dual-density grip has been updated with a softer rubber and smoother, more comfortable design, while the new solution strap offers better security around the wrist and better handling when tackling steep terrain. The redesigned FlickLock Pro adjustability is now lighter, stronger, and easier to use, while featuring a forged aluminium construction. Interchangeable carbide tech tips offer secure bite on everything from granite slabs to pine duff.

How to Measure: On flat ground, the top of the trekking pole handle should be at waist or hip level and your elbow at approximately 90 degrees. For walking, hiking and backpacking: Stability and support matter most. Size up if you're right on a size cusp. For running: Uphill propulsion matters most. Size down if you're right on the size cusp.

They have covered many miles since I bought them, both for low level and high level hikes. Feel sturdy, really easy to adjust and the straps, being specific for left and right hands, makes them very comfortable to hold.
