This is the ice axe leash DMM fit to most of their technical axes. The DMM Choke Hold Leash incorporates the use of a cunning loop which when hitched over the adze or hammer, in theory enables you to remove your hand from the wristloop without having to use the other hand. Practice may be worth while before trying it on the lead.

Suitable for climbing and alpine axes up to 75cm.
