While cheaper than the BD Spinner, it doesn't do the job nearly as well, although it's still functional. - The Phantom wiregates that this uses are bigger and heavier than on the BD which means they swing around a lot more. - The leashes can become twisted if you're swapping axes on harder mixed routes whereas the BD is able to rotate. This means that the BD's don't get tangled either amongst themselves, or the ropes, and this is very noticeable. Functional, but it has its drawbacks. If you don't want to go BD then getting the bare DMM leash and using a few Ocun Kestrel wiregates is probably a little better as they're both cheaper and lighter than the Phantoms.
