DMM have designed the Trance to be a lightweight performance harness. Dynatec (UHMPE) has been used to reinforce the Tie-in points to combat wear from rope abrasion; a feature you’ll appreciate when taking repeated falls working a route at the crag or down the gym.
The fixed leg loops help minimise weight, keep the harness clutter-free and give a small pack size which also makes it an ideal choice for Trad climbing.
Ventilated padding keeps you cool when it’s hot and is great for when you're working a route and having to sit in your harness a lot.
Five gear loops and two Vault gear carrier slots give versatile racking options for summer and winter climbing.

Excellent harness. Padding feels a little cheap in comparison with luxe options, but in use, it is faultless. The fit will be personal. I have found it to be very good. The belay loop seems longer than other comparable harnesses. This is an advantage in my eyes- the waist belt does not seem quite as tethered to the leg loops at the front. This gives a feeling of more freedom. Six months of use and it appears to be durable. Not the most comfortable to hang in for protracted periods.
Very good fit and build quality however some areas could be improved The autolock buckle is a bit fiddly to tighten at the end of its range There is no retaining strap for free webbing once buckle tightened I would have preferred the gear loops to be slightly more forward
