Edelrid HMS Strike Safelock

The Edelrid Stike Safelock HMS is a belay carabiner that takes safety seriously. Featuring two independent, automatic locking mechanisms. The perfect choice for novice climbers or those looking for an added safety. 

The lower sprung wire hugs the belay loop on your harness keeping everything inline for safe, secure belaying, this also prevents the carabiner from being cross-loaded ensuring the main gate stays fully closed. The gate itself has a smooth slide lock mechanism found on other Edelrid popular carabiners. To open the carabiner you simply lift up the lower wire gate at the same time as operating the slide mechanism on the main gate, therefore creating an extra safety step to prevent any accidental opening.
