The Edelrid Huascaran high-alpine climbing harness features an amazingly lightweight construction along with a surprisingly comfortable fit - even when loaded. It is also the first bluesign® certified climbing harness on the market.
The minimalist, lightweight high-alpine climbing harness comes with a classic (threadback) buckle on the waist belt, has ultrasonic-welded band ends for comfortable threading of the buckle and a two-part hip belt construction with soft lining for increased comfort and maximum ventilation. Side buckles on the leg loops make it easy to tighten the harness without removing crampons or skis. Two flexible material loops, two fastening possibilities for ice screw clips make the Huascaran the perfect high-alpine route lightweight.

I wasn't sure on the sizes but took the gamble and got a Large, i'm on the bottom end but it's good. I wear 32 inch trousers normally, to give an indication for others. Quality is good, and is comfy to wear. A no-brainer for under £20
So far, I like this harness a lot. I was concerned about the inability to adjust the leg loops, but have found it is still very comfortable and secure to wear. I haven't used it outside yet, but the gear loops are larger than with my previous harness, so I can imagine this will be a benefit for trad climbing! It is very lightweight, but does not pack down particularly small because of the shape of the leg loops. I have managed to save space by filling the space in the middle with other things I need for climbing. The main downside is that the sizing does not seem to be well suited to a female figure. I found I only have a little extra space when it is extended at the fullest to reach around my hips, but then I have to tighten it as much as I can to fit around my waist. This isn't a problem at the moment, but I can foresee problems when trying to put it on over thick coats and jumpers!
