The Grivel Ran Anti Slip are versatile, slip-on micro-spikes that provide traction on snow, icy trails, or when hiking on muddy terrain.
Designed for non-technical trails, the Grivel Ran Anti Slip spikes can be used over any type of footwear. Lightweight and super compact, they are ideal for winter walkers and anyone else out on snow covered or icy terrain. There's no need for any tools as they just slip over your boots. They can adapt easily to almost any footwear with the Velcro band that will ensure a good fit. Plus they come with a bag.
Please note: The Ran is an anti slip device and is NOT a crampon for alpinism. They are not PPE. The size chart below is designed as a very rough guide for normal walking footwear, if you're planning to use these on mountain boots or similar please get the next size up.
Very efficient and prompt service from Rock&Run, and a brilliant product, just what I wanted to replace my old Grivel Spiders, with the added bonus of being a great improvement. Easy to fit, and very secure once fitted.
Used these Grivels on a jaunt to Sgurr Choinnich. Very happy with them, they made such a difference. A great bit of kit and not much weight to them.
The product met expectations and fitted well. Yet to be tried out in suitable terrain but look suitable.
