My second pair after La Sportiva discontinued the fantastic Anakondas. La Sportivas generally fit me well, and I wanted minimal drop from heel to toe - this was the best they could offer. The Bushidos saw me around the tough 30km four passes event in Cumbria in October 2017.They dealt superbly with wet rock, mud, slick grass, and gravelly tracks. The last few weeks I've been fell and trail running in snow and ice - no problems. I'd been running in the last pair for 5 months, around 50-60k a week on mixed trail and fell with no issues - only reason to buy another pair so soon was so I could always have a dry pair ready to go! Complaints are few, but the laces need to be a few inches longer so they can be tied double - they're undoing themselves every five minutes otherwise. I ended up putting some others in. To complete the package some dedicated mini-gaiters would be a bonus to stop gravel or snow flicking in. Overall good value - if you have La Sportiva shaped feet and want to run mixed terrain these are worth a go.
comfortable shoe and great on most surfaces apart from mud. Went up a size from normal to give more space at the toe.
Purchased for the Glencoe Skyline. Fit was good around the heel, a little narrow at the toe - I went for a half size larger to compensate. Grip was excellent on everything except slick smooth rocks, where few running shoes would grip anyway. Went for these after years of using Salomons. Pretty happy with the decision.
Comfortable shoe, grippy on most surfaces. Had to order a larger size but no problem swapping with Rock and Run. The shoes are not the best in mud but great otherwise.
great shoe and fit my feet perfectly..... as do all sportiva's
