Metolius BRD and Element Belay Package

The Metolius BRD and Element Belay Package include a BRD belay device and an Element carabiner for combined and enhanced belaying efficiency. 

The BRD device is designed to aid the belayer in holding falls by increasing friction within the belay device, and the element is a strong, compact and durable belay biner. The BRD is easy-to-use, has a high strength/low weight ratio, and doesn't kink ropes. 

The device is machined from solid T-6 aluminium. The double engineered rope slots allow for single or double ropes to be used, and the ergonomic horn gives extra control while belaying and abseiling, increasing handling security, whilst the cooling fins effectively dissipate heat.
