Outdoor Research Ascent Shell Bivy

The Outdoor Research Ascent Shell Bivy is a top of the class solo adventure hooped bivy bag, ideal for alpine pursuits, extreme weather or fast and light expeditions. 

Building on the standard set by the original Alpine Bivy, the Ascent Shell Bivy employs Pertex technology to dramatically decrease condensation and therefore provide a more comfortable nights sleep. Primarily developed for use in the Outdoor Research clothing range, the Ascent Shell fabric is completely waterproof, breathable and incredibly light weight.

A step-in opening negates the need to shimmy into the bag, with an extra large head space that makes room for your gear to stow while sleeping. Ideal for use in any climate, the addition of a mosquito mesh comes in handy for when the bugs are out and about!
