The Rock + Run Rope Protector Pro is designed for regular heavy use in a variety of situations where rope abrasion is an issue. Constructed from one layer of PVC Polyester and one layer of 1000 denier Cordura. The inner PVC layer gives good puncture protection while the outer Cordura layer combines to make an extremely durable protector. The Cordura also offers better friction on multiple surfaces which helps prevent slippage during use.
There are two strips of velcro on the opposite edges which wrap around 1 or 2 ropes up to 11 mm each. Perfect for protecting edges while belaying, abseiling or ascending fixed ropes. 4 mm cord attachments at either end give you the option to secure the protector in the right position using one or both the cords or, by clipping a carabiner into the cord loop for an independent fixing point.
