Scarpa Rapid GTX Womens

The Scarpa Rapid GTX is a lightweight and waterproof approach shoe, designed for moving fast across mountainous terrain. Ideal for technical trails when a standard approach shoe may not be as suited, the Scarpa Rapid GTX are ideal for steep and fast ascents and descents.

The lightest shoe in its category, the Rapid GTX lives up to its name in all aspects. A new 'agility' sole has an EVA midsole with different densities across the foot to cushion impacts and increase comfort without excess weight. Stability is provided by a TPU insert across the medial area, while Dynamic Protection System within the forefoot increases propulsion and reactivity.

The uppers are made from technical mesh with an external TPU cage - heat sealed to provide support. Lined with Gore-Tex which is bonded directly to the upper, the Rapid GTX makes no compromise on comfort or fit thanks to the internal Sock-fit construction system. Unique to Scarpa, this precise system wraps your foot to ensure the greatest possible lateral stability.

All in all - the Scarpa Rapid GTX is the perfect hybrid between approach and mountain running, meeting the demanding needs for a fast and light approach with no compromise.
