The Scarpa Velocity V Womens is a comfort orientated rock climbing shoe that will appeal to entry level climbers and those looking for all day comfort.
This women's specific version has a narrower heel and lower volume throughout and can adapt well to the end users needs. Ftted generously the Velocity will prove an excellent entry level climbing shoe, whereas when worn tighter the forgiving upper and supportive midsole will combine well to make for an excellent mid-grade sensitive shoe, ideal for the accomplished all-rounder.
The flat profile, supple upper and supportive midsole will appeal to novice climbers and those looking for all day comfort. Two opposing straps give improved adjustably over straps pulling in the same direction (as with this shoe's predecessor, the Reflex) and combine well with a large, gusseted opening to make for easy on-off.

I had a bit of a sizing issue with these - as a beginner I went with the size guide and got my usual shoe size of a 4 - these were much much too small - got a 5 which is still a little tight for a beginner but ok. That said the returns process was very smooth so thank you!
I bought these shoes as a gift for my girlfriend who is just getting into climbing and bouldering. They aren't too tight or curved which is great for a beginner. They're grippy and look good, only heard good things back from her. Very pleased
After using the more constrictive La Sportiva Muira VS for climbing and bouldering, I decided maybe having a comfort shoe would help on the more lengthy climbs. I would say that the comfort of these shoes are second to none. Would recommend these shoes to anyone, especially beginners who perhaps don't want a more rigid shoe at the start. The only downside is that, compared to the La Sportiva for edging, smearing and general grip, I felt just a little disappointed.
