The Wild Country Astro Quickdraw 20cm is a super light, easy to use wiregate climbing quickdraw great for trad, but versatile enough for any preferred discipline.
This revised version has a slightly slicker finish and features colour co-ordination across the three available lengths: 10cm, 15cm and 20cm.
I'm starting to build up my rack and thought that this quickdraw would be a great addition. Now I'm quite a weird human who really wants to colour code her rack and the theme is green and yellow. Everything from shoes to slings to coats is one of those colours and one of the reasons I bought this quickdraw was because in the picture it was green. But when it arrived it was blue and there was no option on the website to choose a colour. No happy about that at all. Other than that it looks like a pretty good runner.
Better than DMM Phantoms? Only slightly heavier, better gate opening and a semi shrouded nose. Use these with retro WC Forged Friends for fairly light, robust big size cams.
