Edelrid HMS Bulletproof Screw FG

The Edelrid HMS Bulletproof Screw FG is an innovative, robust HMS carabiner with a steel insert at the top part of the rope basket to prevent wear and sharp edges. This model also has an internal spring bar to prevent cross-loading the carabiner - this makes it perfect for use with a belay device.

Also making a lighter, durable alternative to a steel carabiner for top-roping, the Edelrid HMS Bulletproof Screw is made from mostly of aluminium, with the exception of a steel reinforcement element. Lightweight yet providing protection at the point that is most susceptible to abrasion, the HMS Bulletproof Screw solves one of the greatest problems experienced by sports climbers: edge wear.
