The Grivel Trigger can be attached to the shaft of nearly any ice axe for added support while climbing. This highly adjustable attachment allows easy matching for mixed climbing, a place to choke up on your tool and protection for your knuckles from bashing into the ice.

Small fits smaller axe shafts not bigger than 20mm x 30mm.
Standard fits axe shafts bigger than 20mm x 30mm.
Warning:
The Trigger has been designed only as a support for the climber's hand.
The Trigger must never be used for belaying either the climber or partner.
The Trigger must never be used for manoeuvres with ropes.

Not used it yet, but having only finger 'in' the rest, a) means the bulky protrusion on the other side will be in the way, & b) I don't think is the best for a strong grip. consequently, I'm thinking of sawing off the finger hook & using it the other way round at the bottom of the shaft instead (like the 'horn')
