The Evolv Shaman Lace is a top-end, high-performance climbing shoe, designed for bouldering and steep single pitch sport routes.
Evolv Size Suggestion:
Max Performance: use your street shoe size for an ultra-snug fit.
Performance Fit: add a ½ size to your street shoe for a snug fit that is still comfortable to wear for a full session.
Comfort Fit:add 1 to 1.5 sizes to your street shoe.
The combination of the vegan synthetic upper and stiff heel rand positions your toes forward into a 'power' position - ideal for small features and precise feel when edging. However, the love bum midsole and knuckle box leave ample room, so your toes are not compressed into the top of the rand. The Shaman Lace also has a new tongue design, with less bulk and a slimmer design for an improved fit. Suitable for a variety of foot shapes, the asymmetric lacing provides you with the ability to create a custom fit, leaving you with a shoe that creates a comfortable yet powerful sensation straight out of the box.
The Shaman lace has a stiffer midsole than the Shaman velcro which offers more support when sport climbing and bouldering on small edges. The laces also allow for a more customizable fit.

Rated 4 star for certain pros and cons:
Pros:
Very precise edging
Comfortable fit (once broken in after about 8 hours of climbing)
High quality materials
Amazing laces providing great stability
Cons:
I have a small heel and there is some air gap in the heel
Other things to note:
Stiffer shoe so less sensitivity for slab climbing
Will smell quickly due to synthetic materials.
First clawed shoe I’ve used . Taking some time to get used to, impressed by build quality , easy on/off
