Like many climbing staycationers, Aidan Roberts and Jim Pope head to North Wales on a quest to send some of the region’s proudest lines. Notable ascents include a quick tick of Isles of Wonder (8B) and a flash of the board-style classic, Sway On (8A) from Aidan whilst Jim rounds the video off by sending Tenzing (8A+) – a BIG classic on the striking Mallory boulder. Like the latest fashion, certain climbing areas become the de rigueur, often influenced by those at the top of the game. Thanks to this year’s restrictions, the climbing catwalk has made its way to North Wales with its stunning, a la mode mountain lines.

You could be forgiven for thinking Adam Ondra makes a feature in this video with Aidan sporting an Ondra style mop – but if it gives you superhuman climbing powers then who cares!?
