Built for serious alpine objectives, the Black Diamond Mission 55 is a tough, high-capacity pack engineered for ice climbing, mixed routes, and demanding winter expeditions. Constructed with ultra-durable BD X-rip 420d fabric and a UTS™ coating, it’s designed to handle years of harsh mountain use without compromise.

The Mission 55 balances comfort and performance with SwingArm shoulder straps and a removable waistbelt, lid, and frame-sheet for customizable carry. Technical features include a custom metal dogbone attachment system for ice tools and axes, a dedicated front crampon pocket, and a stowable rope strap to keep your kit secure and accessible. A drawcord skirt closure adds extra protection against spindrift and snow, keeping your gear dry and ready when conditions turn.
