DMM Vixen Womens Harness

My previous harness was the one I started climbing with some years ago... I happened to up my climbing game within the last 2 years and realised this year that my original harness should be retired with quick effect. I've used Rock +Run a few times and like the ease at finding what I need and not being overwhelmed with too much choice. I had been advised by a seasoned climbing buddy to buy DMM, my previous harness was DMM and it was a great find the selection of DMM harnesses on Rock+Run. I have used my new vixen harness quite a few times already- it's just an updated version of my old one so I know I'm going to be very happy with this harness! And I am happy with it so far. I ordered the harness on a Friday, and received it in the post Monday, fabulous!

I rank this harness amongst the best for the following reasons... It has five gear loops, so if you're climbing trad there is a back loop for your shoes/ spare gear, my old harness just had four loops and this was heavy on the hips, for some reason it's quite hard to find women's harnesses with five loops. The gear loops seem really robust, the harnesses which have those plastic coated loops seem to go easier. It has a fully adjustable belt meaning that if you use this over a down jacket the belay loop can still be centralised, my old harnesses you'd end up with it sitting to the side. This one also has adjustable leg loops, good for me cause I have slim legs but also want them to be able to go over winter clothes. It is a great brand, I really trust DMM.

Not worn it / only just bought it maybe in few months we might know.
