Tenaya Aruma

The Tenaya Aruma is built for climbers who want to feel everything. Pushing sensitivity and precision to a new level, this high-performance Sport/Bouldering rock shoe puts you right in tune with the wall, giving you the confidence to smear, edge and power onto even the smallest holds. Whether you’re climbing on rock or plastic holds, the Aruma delivers an incredibly direct connection between your feet and the wall.

Even with its curved, downturned shape, Aruma adapts effortlessly to a wide range of features, maximising rubber contact and improving grip on challenging holds indoors and out. 

Fit: The Aruma has a fairly average width, with a lowish volume over the forefoot and a flat, high-volume heel. The Aruma is very comfortable and soft straight out of the box, and in most cases will need to be downsized to maximise performance. 

We recommend the following sizing suggestions based on your regular street shoe size:

Max Performance: go 2.5 UK shoe sizes down for an ultra-snug fit.

Performance Fit: go 2 UK sizes down from your street shoe for a snug fit that is still comfortable to wear for a full session.

Comfort Fit: go 1.5 sizes down.
