The Moon Aerial pack is a multi-purpose climbing rucksack, designed to allow you easy access to all of your climbing gear.
Designed with ease of use in mind, the Aerial pack is a versatile backpack style bag offering a multitude of features to keep your kit contained. The wide-mouth top snaps closed in the middle, and can also be adjusted to be used in a dry bag style roll and close with quick release side buckles. If you require quick access to the middle of the pack, the YKK middle zip gains you immediate access to the centre of the pack without having to rummage around from the top down. Tension straps on the outside of the bag can be used to secure your rope, and there is also a removable handy rope tarp secured by a clip in the main section. A guidebook pocket big enough to also store your keys, wallet and map provide all the storage you may need.
If you have a long walk in planned, the Aerial pack offers a super comfortable padded hip belt (which is also removable), padded shoulder straps, an adjustable chest harness and an integral moulded back panel.
It seems there is nothing that Moon hasn't thought of when designing this pack - made from P600D ripstop (the same material as their boulder mat shells) and providing 38 litres of capacity, the Aerial pack is tough, comfortable and easy to use. A real nod to the Moon ethos of '100% climbing'.

I love this pack. Have an issue with one (we bought two) but am sure it will be sorted, the chest harness came away and then appears to be no way to fix it back to the bag. Apart from that, it's big enough to be a leaders pack, with plenty of room for lots of emergency and comfort kit and with easy access to all items without spilling the bag onto the mountainside. I've given it four stars as there is no hydration system compatability and the aforementioned issue with the chest harness. Hydration system is so9lved though, just use the large map pocket.
It's comfortable to wear all day with a large load and everything seems very well made and as though it will last a good deal of time.
Thank you Moon for such a well-designed bag and yes, we know it's for climbing gear but it truly makes for a superb mountain guide pack too.
