Organic Full Pad - Solid

The Organic Full Pad is a medium sized, high quality bouldering pad with a cool strapping feature that enables you to attach another Organic pad to it.

With a 120 x 90 cm landing surface, the Organic Full Pad features 11cm top quality cushioning (2.55cm hard foam and 7.65cm soft foam), as well as updated closure straps on the pocket flap that enable a Half Pad, Briefcase Pad, or Blubber pad to attach, allowing you to carry two pads for the price of one! The landing zone is made from one-of-a-kind recycled materials, and a 60 x 40cm pocket flap securely carries your gear and keeps what you stuff in the pad from sliding out.

When open for use, the inclusive pouch is designed to secure and cover your shoulder straps, making the hike home from a muddy or wet day that bit dryer. The Full Pad closes securely with simple and clean metal buckles and folds down to 90 x 60 x 21 for transporting. Fully adjustable shoulder straps with chest strap and a thick 5cm hip belt haul loads with ease.

NB: As these pads are handmade we cannot specify the exact colourways in stock. If you would like to know what colours we currently have stock please give us a call.

Solid: This refers to the fact that this version of the Organic Full Pad comes with a landing zone in single 'solid' colour.

Handmade in the USA.

Good pad with some faults

This pad is good in some ways and not so good in others:
Pros:
1. It is solid and well-built and seems like it will last well.
2. The foam/padding is good for absorbing falls.
3. The partial split in the middle allows for easier folding without a nasty gutter in the middle.
4. The carry system is excellent.
Cons:
1. The closure system is a pain because you have to wrap the strap system around the far side of the pad (the middle), instead of simply joining the two ends of the pad. This makes it a bit of a pain/struggle when it does not need to be.
2. The base is quite slippy, so if you have sloping grass landings, or stack pads on slope you face the very real risk of a slide-out, pad-surfing scenario.

Overall it is OK, but I would not buy this pad again as it has too many faults for me.
