Grivel G22 Plus EVO Crampons

The Grivel G22 Plus EVO crampons are lightweight dual point crampons for ice climbing and technical mountaineering.

With a smaller front plate than many models in the Grivel crampon range, the G22 has been designed this way to keep the weight down. The other striking feature is the central adjustment rail, again for weight saving purposes. You may notice that there are spikes on the rail for additional traction on aid when standing on ice pillars with the middle of your foot.

The webbing and bindings on the G22 Plus EVO have been improved over the previous generation, now using 12mm webbing compared to 14mm. The buckle has been improved and is now easier to tighten and loosen, the extra webbing now fastens in towards the boot and wraps around the front of the ankle and can be tucked into the back. The step-in bindings have also been improved and simplified with a clip in height adjuster rather than the old dial. These step-in bindings are now lighter, stronger and easier to adjust.
