The La Sportiva Ultra Raptor II is a neutral, stable all-terrain mountain running shoe with a forefoot rock guard and an ultra sticky rubber outsole geared towards off-road, endurance trails and long training sessions.
An aesthetic re-edit of the previous model - the Ultra Raptor II has a breathable air-mesh upper complemented by a lacing system with internal elastic to distribute tension over the entire upper surface, therefore reducing any pressure points. The sole is La Sportiva's FriXion White rubber - a sticky and durable compound designed for high performance trail shoes. An endurance focused mid sole is sandwiched between soft EVA with differentiated thicknesses (thicker at the toe, and thinner at the heel) for superb impact absorption and a reduction in the ramp-angle. A rear stabilizing heel also allows perfect control on traverses. Combined with the ultra supportive impact brake system, and a shock proof rubber toe cap, this shoe is perfect for hours of off road use on any type of terrain.

Recently went to the French alps and went on some trails. The shoes are really grippy and very comfortable going up and down steep inclines.
