The Aequilibrium LT GTX is a heavy-load alpine hiking boot that strikes the perfect balance between comfort and technicality, lightweight and durability for modern mountaineering, perfect for backpacking and multi-day hikes at altitude.
The revolutionary structure of the Double Heel™ heel provides exceptional walkability: The prominent double-block rear design improves downhill braking and allows for a more fluid roll, decreasing muscle fatigue so you can go for longer.
Due to the innovative outsole/midsole package with external Rubber Guard™ shell structure and inside foam material for emphasised cushioning and lightweight derived from fewer usage of rubber layers, durability and lightweight coexist in harmony.
The Ergonomic form is enveloping and precise, with TPU shells in the toe and heel to reinforce the uppers. The 3D Flex System Evo™ directional joint, which features a curved malleolus and abrasion resistance, offers for superior ankle support and mobility. Vibram® tread with Impact Brake System lugs for increased hard-rock adaptation.

Boots are some of the best and most comfortable I have ever had straight out of the box. Sized up like people said, I’m a 10.5/11UK so bought the 46 and they fit perfectly. Great service as usual too.
I was a little unsure whether to go for these boots as I thought they might be too ridged and stiff but they are fantastic. Very light, comfy and very much waterproof! After buying these boots I don’t think I’ll need to buy anymore for a long time.
First class service from Rock and Run. Cheaper than anywhere else, super fast delivery. Will definitely buy from here again.
I never thought a B2 boot would be comfy straight out of the box but this boot was clearly made in another dimension. I don’t understand how a ridged boot can be so comfy, in fact after using the LT boot for winter (leather version) and enjoying it so much I’ve bought the ST boot (synthetic version) for the summer, I’m not going to bother with ‘summer boots’ or approach shoes any more, it’s just this in the LT or ST all year round for me. I’d be happy wearing this all the time, everywhere. For the record I’ve been down to -18°c and my feet stayed warm (with liner socks plus mid weight smart wool hiking socks). I’ve front pointed in these but for anything technical you’ll probably still want a b3 boot, but that kind of goes without saying. These boot are absolutely awesome!
