Blue Ice Blackbird

The Blackbird is a classic and versatile mountaineering ice axe for UK winters, alpine routes, ski mountaineering, glacier travel and expeditions.

Its head is made of Chromoly steel, which is both light and rigid, making it ideal for anchoring. The classic straight shaft features a dual-textured grip and a stainless steel spike for secure placement. The Blackbird also comes with the added bonus of a spike and pick protector, so you can store & transport your axe without causing any damage.
