La Sportiva TX2 Evo Womens

Colour: Topaz/Red Plum
Topaz/Red Plum
Size: EU 37.5

The La Sportiva TX2 Evo Womens is a technical approach shoe with an enveloping fit thanks to the caged lacing system. Designed for moving through and across any terrain as part of the Traverse X series of shoes, as its name suggests - the TX2 Evo Womens is an evolution of the classic TX2 model.

Pioneering La Sportiva's new environmental technology and processes, the TX2 Evo Womens is the lightest shoe in its class and boasts a host of re-used and recycled components throughout its design. The sole unit is designed for quick and easy re-soling (at authorised re-solers) - by being able to replace the tread below the green rand line and therefore not compromising the uppers or structure of the shoe. Its original sole is Vibram Idrogrip - ideal on wet, slippy surfaces and is a compound inspired by free climbing rubber. Although the tread itself has been re designed, the TX2 Evo still boasts the popular 'Climbing zone' at the toe for maximum grip on technical terrain.

The upper is seamless piece of recycled vegan friendly knit yarn, while the PU Tech-Lite areas on the toe and heel protect the areas most prone to abrasion and the foot itself. An integrated tongue eliminates gaps and ensures the shoe wraps around the foot for maximum protection. The hybrid approach Ortholite insole is made from recyled materials, while the midsole is made in part by processing used scraps of compressed EVA into a new sheet.

The lacing system is a continuation from previous successful models, derived from Mythos climbing shoe - which regulates tension and inner volumes in one simple move. The TX2 Evo are the perfect climbing companion thanks to the C2 Combo Cord system that allows you to store the shoes quickly and compactly on your harness. With features that combine the comfort of a trail running shoe to the technical characteristics of a climbing shoe, Traverse X is the ultimate expression of moving in the mountains quickly and safety.

TX2 Evo - renewed design, reused materials and fully resole-able.
