The Black Diamond Mission Leather Low WP is a a durable and waterproof approach shoe, built for wet approaches, mud and technical terrain.
The Mission is one of those shoes that covers all bases. It has a padded and fully gusseted tongue for comfort, plenty of support through the midsole. The sole is sticky and features decent sized lugs for soft terrain and a smooth front section for steeper rocky terrain. When the climbing starts there are multiple hanging options to clip these shoes to your harness or pack.
Overall a great technical approach shoe and with high quality Nubuck leather and BD dry lining these would suit Uk approaches particularly well.

Nice and protective with a bit of stiffness to front point, have not traveld more than a few miles but I have wide feet and they have not given me any rubbing issues so far.
