Black Diamond Distance Carbon Z

Length: 110cm

The Black Diamond Distance Carbon Z pole is incredibly light and has been designed with fast paced adventures in mind, fast and light, and running for example.

Made from 100% carbon and a slimmer diameter than the previous model, these poles are lighter than before, but retain the same level of durability.

The other key features are the foldable three-section design that deploys quickly and takes up minimal space when not in use. The strap is breathable and moisture wicking and the light weight EVA foam grip provides adequate comfort.

Included are both rubber and carbide tech tips and the poles have a low volume basket that can be upgraded separately with a Z-Pole Snow Basket.

For walking, hiking and backpacking: Stability and support matter most. Size up if you're right on a size cusp. For running: Uphill propulsion matters most. Size down if you're right on the size cusp.

    Light, strong and comfortable

Having had the adjustable metal version of these poles, I knew my desired fixed length for this carbon pole. They are great.... very light, strong and comfortable.... oh and so easy to pack away :-)

Black Diamond Distance Carbon Z running poles

Very pleased with purchase. Really light poles. I'm 191cm tall and having used them a few times, they feel just the right length at 130cm.

    Quality lightweight poles

Excellent, click and collect from Sandside, friendly service.
Sadly, didn’t have my size - 115cm length, but 110cm are okay for emergency in backpack.

    Lightweight knee protection

Very good. I have always avoided carrying these kind of things but once had to borrow a friends to get down an alpine peak after a meniscus injury. These are so light the can go in any walking pack, just in case.
