Scarpa Mescalito TRK Planet GTX Womens

The Scarpa Mescalito TRK Planet GTX Womens is a cross between a walking boot and an approach shoe. The TRK GTX, which is based on the hugely popular Mescalito shoe, combines the best technologies with sustainable materials for all-day comfort, support, and stability. 

Thanks to the innovative Perspair® fabric, which is high-performance, lightweight, and breathable, this shoe is the new green benchmark in the trekking world. This fabric is constructed from a single-piece upper made of recycled yarns and combines functionally distinct zones with the new GORE-TEX® Flux 3L membrane, which contains 98% recycled fabrics, and a Vibram® Ecostep Evo compound sole, which contains up to 30% recycled rubber.

The Scarpa Mescalito TRK Planet GTX Womens is a waterproof, supportive walking boot with the same technical capabilities as the market-leading Mescalito family of approach shoes. This shoe offers the necessary performance for long trails over tough rocky terrain in the mountains, whilst leaving behind a much greener carbon footprint.

Features

• UPPER - 1.8 mm suede with characteristics of waterproofing, breathability, abrasion-resistant surface and durability. The ankle collar provides better ankle support, protection and comfort thanks to an Autofit 3D COLLAR in padded fabric able to stabilize the entire foot without pressure points and wrap the ankle following its movement.
• LINING - GORE-TEX Laminate is made by a highly abrasion resistant and quick drying textile lining material while the highly breathable membrane holds a remarkable ability to disperse heat. In this way, feet are protected from water, while sweat that is created inside the shoe quickly evaporates.
• SOLE: Vibram XS Trek Evo® sole is a technical compound that allows fot great traction and sensitivity over any terrain. The XS Trek Evo is especially suited to wet or unpredictable surfaces.
