Sales and Customer Service (Jun 2025)
Our showroom has become a go-to destination for climbers, mountaineers, and outdoor enthusiasts, thanks to our commitment to offering an exceptional in-person experience. Due to growing demand—both in-store and online—we’re looking for an experienced, passionate salesperson to join our team. This role also includes contributing to other areas of the business, such as warehouse operations and admin tasks.

About the role
In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional service while sharing your knowledge and passion for outdoor gear. Your responsibilities will include:

We currently open one Saturday a month, with plans to increase this. By applying for this role, you are committing to working additional Saturdays as they are added to the schedule.

Since first launching our website and the web-sales portion of our business back in 1994 we have been an industry leader in web retail and this is something we strive to maintain and uphold. 2023 welcomed a return to in person shopping with the launch of our showroom and personal shopping service.
We are in Sandside which is located just off the A6 at Milnthorpe. Sandside is a 15 to 25 minute drive from Kendal or Lancaster respectively. Our location offers easy access and parking in a pleasant rural setting with climbing, bouldering and running close by.
