This innovative brake assistant is designed for use with a single rope, and it’s at home in the climbing gym, out at the crag, or high on a multi-pitch, single rope sport route, bringing extra safety and comfort to climbers and belayers of all abilities.

From beginners to seasoned pros, and whether or not there’s a weight difference between partners, the OHMEGA adapts to your needs. It's integrated HMPE sling lets you switch between three braking levels with a simple hand movement, fine-tuning resistance to match the situation. An integrated pulley reduces friction at the first bolt compared to a standard quickdraw, making rope feed and clipping silky smooth, even on long, steep, or technical lines.

Thanks to the short HMPE sling and minimal activation distance, dynamic, soft catches are easier to achieve, helping to reduce impact forces and the risk of injury. In the event of a fall, the cam engages to slow the climber, support the belayer, and counter weight differences, preventing the belayer from being lifted off the ground. On lower-height falls, the braking action reduces the risk of ground falls or mid-air collisions between the climber and belayer. It even works effectively if the climber falls directly into the device.
