The MSR Dynalock Ascent Carbon is a fast and light mountain pole, perfect for snowshoeing, mountaineering and split-boarding. 

Equipped with the DynaLock mechanism, the MSR Dynalock Ascent Carbon offers 20cm of length adjustability, and the ability to tighten the clamping force on the fly for no-slip security when you need it the most. From fast ascents to remote traverses, the DynaLock Ascent Carbon poles keep you moving quickly over mountain terrain. Built of Kevlar-reinforced carbon fibre, these ultralight poles feature a quick-deploy design, and their tiny collapsed size fits inside alpine packs and travel bags.

Expensive but worth it

I went to R&R in shop at Sand Side and received excellent support with my choice. I ve used the poles and found the unfolding and collapse to be very easy no gloves, collapsing the poles could be problematic with thick gloves but I guess this could be a problem with other poles. The construction is robust which you would expect from MSR. I am pleased with my purchase.
