The Expedition Foods Mediterranean Vegetable Pasta (800kcal) is a delicious, nutritionally balanced, dried food product for high intensity, multi-day activities.
Designed and developed to replenish valuable calories, the Mediterranean Vegetable Pasta meal is a high energy serving of vegetables, black olives and lentils with pasta shells in a creamy herb sauce, that will satisfy the tastebuds and keep you going on your adventure.
PREPARATION:
Remove the oxygen absorber (Sachet) from inside the pouch. Add boiling water to internal fill line 4 (275ml), stir the contents and then close the bag and wait 5-8 minutes for the food to re-hydrate.
REMARKS:
Cold water will suffice in an emergency, however the re-hydration time is much longer.
Expedition Foods meals have a long shelf life of up to 5 years. Made in the UK.

My first try of these. Utterly disgusting- never fully hydrated no matter how long waited fully boiling water. Hard crunchy dried pasta and horrible creamy sauce. It would probably keep you alive yes. Good to eat - no.
I had the raspberry granola for breakfast which was pretty good - bit sickly but a huge step up. So must vary a lot.
