Built to be responsive and sensitive without sacrificing power, the Shaman 2S features the Evolab heel construction from Phantom Pro and Shaman midsole, which allows it to excel on modern gym features like volumes, slopers, and technical friction moves while still delivering authority on edges and rock features. It’s particularly well-suited to climbers who value dynamic footwork, tactile feedback, and all-day comfort in a downturned shoe.

Softer, More Adaptive Feel
Where the classic Shaman leans toward a slightly firmer, traditional performance great for edging and steeper terrain, the 2S shifts toward modern sensitivity, giving you greater feedback on volumes and slopers without losing power.
Updated Rubber & Midsole Balance
The 2S uses 3.5 mm EVO 74 rubber and a thoughtful blend of camber and Love Bump to strike a balance between stickiness and agility. The original Shaman typically features thicker TRAX rubber for a grippier but stiffer feel.
Closure & Fit Adaptations
Shaman 2S features a hybrid strap setup that enhances fit customisation across foot shapes, while the original usually has a more traditional Velcro closure and a slightly different tension profile.
Engineered for Gym & Outdoor
Though both perform on rock and plastic, the 2S’s softer, more responsive platform is explicitly excellent on modern gym terrain and volumes, something many climbers feel sets it apart from the more rock-centric feel of the original Shaman.
