The Karwendel Mountains are one of the largest mountain groups in the Northern Limestone Alps, one of the wildest anyway and one of the most interesting for climbers. The breadth of the range is unique and ranges from the sport-climbing-like multi-pitch tours on the Martinswand, which also go from Innsbruck after work, to the wild mountain adventures in the shadow of the mighty Laliderer walls.
In between, everything is on offer. Among them are more and more sport climbing pearls in the very best limestone (Halleranger, Repswand, Eiskarlsspur) and areas with sport climbing character (Gramais, Martinswandsockel, Gerberkreuz).
