Designed for single to multi-day trekking in versatile mountain terrain and diverse weather conditions – this is a unique-looking jacket for modern-day exploration that packs neatly away into its own zippered side pocket.

The Puez Powertex Hybrid Jacket features two different versions of our propriety proven laminated weatherproof fabric: 3-layer Powertex® Ripstop at the upper torso for full weather protection and durability and a lighter 2.5-layer Powertex® Ripstop for greater freedom of movement and packability. Both fabrics have a 10,000 mm waterproof and 10,000 g/m2/24h breathability rating, and come with a distinctive, protective ‘Salamander’ backer layer that protects the membrane. In addition, the taped seams are fully sealed and there is a water-resistant front zip.

You get a fully adjustable hood and two double-access front pockets with separate compartments: one with a top snap button, the other with a zip-secure side closure to store important items and provide a comfortable hand pocket. The front panel that covers the main zip is also fitted with snap buttons for additional ventilation options. And there's ventilating underarm pit zips and comfortable hem regulation.

The Puez Powertex Hybrid is a Salewa Committed style manufactured according to our additional environmental and sustainability standards for a lower impact – all its fabrics are made of 100% recycled polyester and have a PFC-free durable water repellent (DWR) coating to maintain water repellency without the harmful environmental impact.
