Scarpa Instinct VS-R LV

The Scarpa Instinct VSR LV is the softest and most dynamic addition to the Instinct series. This super sensitive performance climbing shoe is designed to suit climbers who prefer a low volume fit and a slim-fitting heel. 

Sizing: If you are familiar with Instinct VS/VS-R's then we would suggest going with the same size you wear in those. For those not so familiar, we would suggest dropping 1-1.5 EU sizes from your street shoe size for a performance fit. For an intermediate level or more comfortable fit, we would suggest dropping 0.5 EU size from your street shoes. These are low-volume shoes so those with high-volume feet may feel the need to go up a half size from what they are accustomed to.

With the lowest volume fit seen in the series – even lower than that of the Instinct VS Womens – the VSR LV provides a welcome addition for those who have historically found other Instinct models too roomy or not sensitive enough, particularly within the indoor arena.

The soft feel is achieved by reducing the force applied to the Bi-Tension randing and results in a more responsive and pliant experience when compared to the rest of the Instinct series. 

Adding to it's technical bouldering capabilities, the Instinct VSR LV debuts an updated toe patch design. Integrated with the fabric of the upper, the large M50 patch provides added security and the seamless interface reduces the likelihood of aggressive hooking causing the rubber to peel.

As with the VSR, the upper material of the VSR LV is constructed from synthetic fabric which allows it to hold its size and shape well throughout its lifespan and theVelcro strap keeps the heel of the shoe firmly secured to your foot. 

Overall, with many of the same characteristics of the legendary Instinct VSR but with  extra feel and sensitivity, this version will appeal to low volume plastic masters and those of a lighter frame, widening the possibilities of what the Instinct range can achieve.
